Hey Fellow Bloggers, Readers and the Likes...

On my last post I said I wouldn't be posting because my mother was sick. I have an update on that she is doing better, she has pneumonia, and she waited until she was extremely sick before she went to the doctor,. The doctor told her he has no idea how she made it the way she was but if she had waited one more day she would have died. When she arrived at the hospital her pulse was high, her blood pressure was low, she had shallow breathing and the list goes on. She even lost about 15lbs and she only weighed about 115 to begin with. She is using an oxygen tank to help her breathe but she is recovering really well. The doctor is going to see her again on Monday to let her know more about how she is recovering and maybe to give her an idea of when she will be able to come home. I want to thank Joy and Tim for the kind words you left I really appreciate it. I want to thank everyone else who read it and still remembered us in their prayers. Since I know my mother is in good hands I can get back to posting. I didn't completely go away though I still read others blogs and I left comments here and there.

  1. Hi, Shannie~
Thank you for posting an update on your Mom. I'm sure there were a lot of people sending good thoughts your way. I made an attempt to comment on your last post a couple of times but each time I submitted one, all of the words on your post overlapped each other - no comment posted. I'm not sure what happened; please know that you and your mother have been in my thoughts since reading about it when I got home last night. Hope you can rest easier and thanks again for the good news!

  2. Excellent news! I'm glad to hear your mom is doing much better than your last post. Hopefully, it's only uphill from here on out.

  3. Thanks Ellen and The Fat Mom :D I think she is doing a lot better than she was when she got there definitely. She is improving everyday.

@Ellen I have no idea what is wrong with the posting I didn't change any settings lately other than the template maybe it's a glitch with blogger.

  4. I'm glad your mom is feeling better Shannie. I tried to post as well and had the same issue Ellen had? I wanted to let you know that blogging isn't significant but your health and well being should always remain a priority. You are no good for your mom if YOU aren't taking care of yourself, try to remember that. My heart is smiling for you!
